"Soft spots" on the roof were reported in the inspection, and the suggested repair was for the OSB to be removed and replaced on the roof of the house to fix “soft spots” on the roof. In the process of this repair, we found that the OSB was not soft in the areas of concerned “soft spots”. The material used to alter the pitch of the roof caused the metal to sag when walked on. The OSB only showed water in one area of the roof and the affected OSB was removed and replaced. Correct valley flashing was installed to prevent any further issues.
